Obligatory for all students studying in the curriculum.

Develop knowledge and skills in mathematics and in natural and exact sciences.

A student that has completed the module:

  1. Possesses basic knowledge of higher mathematics to the extent required in natural sciences;
  2. understands the meaning of the occurrence of physical processes and meaningfulness in describing the processes of wildlife;
  3. understands and knows the general basic knowledge of chemistry, which are required for learning natural sciences;
  4. is able to program the processing tasks of the natural science databases on the basic level.

Base module 2 (24 ECTS)

  • LTMR.05.001, Basics of Molecular Biology (6 ECTS)
  • LTMR.02.001, Evolution and the Natural World (6 ECTS)
  • LTTI.00.003, Introduction to Analytical Modelling (6 ECTS)
  • LTTI.00.002, Laboratory (Laboratory techniques) (6 ECTS)

Obligatory for all students studying in the curriculum.

Give an overview of work in laboratories, content of lab data and their processing.

A student that has completed the module:

  1. Has basic lab work experience;
  2. Knows the methods of professional practical work;
  3. Possesses the primary methods of mathematical processing of test data, i.e., is able to process test data and natural scientific databases, model natural scientific objects and processes;
  4. Understands natural world on the molecular and biosphere level. Possesses basic knowledge on the main processes of modern biology on the molecular level; Understands the evolution and development of natural world.
